Studio Policies
We cannot wait to meet you in the studio for a class! Here are our policies to keep our clients safe and classes fun!
First timers
All first time clients must arrive at least ten minutes early to receive and orientation and share any limitations with our instructors. Guests that do not arrive at least 10 minutes early will be asked to reschedule. No exceptions, this is to ensure you stay safe in class.
For pregnant clients trying class for the first time, please discuss classes with your medical provider prior to enrolling in class to discuss if this method is right for you.
Running Late
Please try your very best to arrive a few minutes early to view instructor demos. If you arrive after the start of class your spot is no longer guaranteed and you should expect to arrive to a locked front door.
While we understand that life happens and it is inevitable we will all run late from time to time, it is critical that we hold firm on this policy. We lock the doors to the studio to help avoid disruptions and to keep our studio community safe. This policy is not designed to be punitive, but because keeping our community safe is always our priority.
Please plan to arrive to all classes 5 minutes early to avoid arriving after the doors have been locked. This will also ensure you don’t miss any demos and gives you time to chat with your instructor about body limitations.
Guests
Only registered clients enrolled in class are permitted into classes. Children, partners, friends, and pets are not permitted into class and will be asked to leave in line with our studio's insurance policy. If you'd like to bring a guest, please be sure they are enrolled in class. All guests must be at least 18 years old.
Clients may not share guests credits or memberships. The name on our roster must match the client attending class.
Socks
All clients must wear grip socks during class. No exceptions.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled class. For members all “no shows” will forfeit the credit and incur a $15 fee. All “late cancels” will forfeit the credit and incur a $10 fee. For credit holders all “late cancels” and “no shows” will forfeit the credit.
This is because at Plank + Power we are a community and signing up but not showing up has an impact on the community. Class space is extremely limited so by reserving class you are agreeing to show up for the XFORMER you have reserved. There are no exceptions.
We get that life happens, but as a small local business, we must enforce these policies for the health of our business. We appreciate your understanding. Credits lost to “late cancels” and “no shows” cannot be returned for any reason.
Please cancel via the website or app. We will not accept email or phone cancellations.
Refunds
All sales are final.
